ALARIS MEDLEY 8000 PC MODULE

The Alaris Medley 8000 PC Module is the core of the Medley System and and provides a common interface for programming infusion and monitoring modules. This helps to reduce complexity at the point of care. The Medley Medication Safety System is a modular infusion and monitoring system designed to provide SpO2 monitoring capabilities. It is also designed to provide accurate, automated infusion of a broad range of intra-vascular fluids, medications and blood products. The Alaris Medley Point of Care System with Guardrails Suite MX software is a Modular smart IV medication safety system. This system can help protect every infusion to guard you and your patients from medication errors. The Alaris Medley System combines a single point-of-care unit featuring Guardrails Suite MX safety software with IV / LVP, PCA Syringe, Syringe, respiratory monitoring (SpO2 and EtCO2), and barcoding capabilities. Each Alaris Medley 8000 PC Module can support up to four Infusion Modules with a single power cord, and features a large, easy to read monochrome display for programming values. Programming screen displays drug or IV fluid name, dose or rate and volume infused. Real time battery gauge display lets clinicians know the amount of run time available for their current infusions. To enhance safety and ease of operation, the MEDLEY System provides a full range of audio and visual alarms, advisories and prompts. Alaris Medley units are Guardrails compatible, and Educational customers have the option of having an Educational Training Dataset added for training purposes. The Alaris 8000 Medley system supports the Guardrails Suite MX Software. It allows the user to expand and customize infusion delivery to meet individual patient needs while protecting every infusion to guard clinicians and patients from medication errors.It is a computer at the patients bedside and it is the basis for a modular platform that the clinician can build on to customize infusion delivery to meet individual patient needs by adding and subtracting infusion modules like large volume pump,patient controlled analgesic,syringe, & patient monitoring.
